微微一笑很倾城 TV drama- First Photos from Media Visits

Since the cast and crew have started filming 微微一笑很倾城 already, people have started to leak set photos. And they’re below the cut.

Wei Wei and Xiao Nai walking on the steps of the university (My guess – it’s the first meeting. White sandals, the “conservative” white shirt)

Same scene. Look how *aloof* Xiao Nai looks.

If this is how they meet for the first time, where’s the willow tree? I want the willow tree! But the title given by the article is “couple’s clothing” so this might be the scene where they’re already together and Wei Wei is starting to intern.

(Main big BIG concern: How are they going to film the online bits?)

I don’t know what happened with the filters here. But look - umbrella!

That looks like a dress, not a skirt. Where’s the short skirt and the bag of food?

Better look at male lead’s face. Wonder who’s the guy behind him.

Weird place with friends. I think they went too mainstream with Xiao Nai’s costume. Yes, black and white was Gu Man’s description but he looks like a waiter.

Confrontation?

Confrontation? Cao Guang is definitely in the drama but there isn’t any info found on who’s acting him.

Cast Photo Bottom: Hao Mei, Hou Zi Jiu/Zhen Sui Wu Xiang?, Yu Gong Top: Si Si?, Er Xi, (unknown woman), Xiao Nai, Wei Wei, Director?, unknown person, Xiao Ling? (Guesses based on cast info from http://baike.baidu.com/subview/2160039/17823576.htm if anyone else wants to double check)

From the looks of it, the cast isn’t very big at the moment. I haven’t found anything on the episode count but hopefully they won’t stretch it like Come Eat Shan Shan. I’m okay with a thirteen story miniseries.

  2. The hair! The hair! Why is that bad helmet hairstyle plaguing all the hotties playing Gu Man’s male leads? 😦 First, Feng Teng in the drama adaptation sported that style and now my poor Xiao Nai. Perhaps this is the new hip style for handsome men in China and someone forgot to send me the memo? 😦

I hope they do a good job with the ancient/game scenes because those were my favorite parts of the story.
